  I still cry when those birds are released. Nothing says a beautiful day like seeing birds released and free. What a killer moment.

  At the very outset of this video, when he said “did that really just happen?“, he was referring to performing with Paul McCartney singing Sgt Pepper. I thought that was really cool.<br><br>I love when individuals who in their own right are instantly recognizable pretty much anywhere in the world(like the guys in U2 clearly are), yet are capable of not only recognizing an incredible moment while they’re in it, but are also humble enough to make expressions like the one he made about Paul McCartney recognizing he’s on an entirely different level. That seems like a no-brainer to say. But the entertainment history is jammed with condescending arrogant pricks who would never admit to feeling that way. I think it’s pretty cool. It says a lot about Bono. I’m not the biggest fan of them. But it bothers me how he gets trashed by people for being some sort of arrogant condescending douche.. something that he clearly isn’t.
