  There is a guy that is making a mod for the game.  He goes by Mae-kun.  With the mod there is now 8, soon to be 10 rivals added (It's a work in progress).  You know its bad when a modder is closer to completing the game than the actual developer.

  i was in love with yansim in 2015, kiddo in school<br>now i drive a car, studied to work in dream job... while alex is still the same, and yansim had more dramas than events that happened in my life...

  It’s wild to look back and realize how many massive careers were built on a game that’s still barely finished. Most of the YouTubers I used to watch have blown up now, and a lot of them are actually deleting their old Yandere Simulator videos. It’s shocking that a game with such slow development managed to make so many people famous.

  I feel the reason why he was able to pump out 1980&apos;s mode so fast was because he didn&apos;t put near the time into it as he&apos;s trying with the current mode. Like you said, it&apos;s no longer based off of the story, it&apos;s just to prove he can actually finish a game, so there&apos;s no cutscenes and no voicelines like you noticed. Every 1980&apos;s rival has the exact same events with Senpai and even the same befriend/betray mission which also helped in making it easier to finish. Sure, it&apos;s fun to play the first time around, especially doing the canon eliminations, but it gets obvious fast how cheap it was made. I love this game and play its new updates whenever I get the chance, but man does it have some issues still, I just hope he adds more rivals to the current mode before I grow old 😭
