My hats off to you man! I'm a vetran backpacker/canoeist/kayaker and if more people using the backcoutry had the same respect you do i.e. Leave No Trace, Leave it cleaner than you found it. Hope you get out more and more. It's a great feeling of satisfaction and acomplishment. By the way, that sound you heard in the marsh was a bull frog ;) Keep hiking!! Great video man!

The silvery metallic mineral you found was Mica which was mined in the area about 100 years ago.

Just back from my first time at Frontenac Provincial Park. Way more rewarding hike than the Western Uplands in Algonquin Provincial Park in terms of scenery and panoramic views. Watched your video before heading out there. Thanks for the info!

Awesome trip. I'm going up next week for a solo backpacking experience also. I'm inspired by all the YouTube vids of Frontenac Prov. Park. Got to strangle my demons.

Nice trip really really enjoyed the video. Gave me a great view of some of the camp sites. Planning to visit this park this summer. Just started to do some kayak camping and Frontenac looks like a superb spot to start. I subbed so I don't miss any future adventures!
