This is the story of a boy with autism spectrum disorder who has been attending the COMPASS Developmental Support Center Headquarters since he was in kindergarten.
At COMPASS, we have a wide range of specialists, including physical therapists and speech-language-hearing pathologists, to promote children's growth.
Even after entering elementary school, this boy had difficulty expressing his thoughts in words and often dropped out during class. Learn how he has changed, now able to sit down and engage in his learning program.

●About the launch of the channel●
We have decided to share the results of our therapeutic training to dispel the notion that people with disabilities "cannot thrive." We hope that many people will watch videos of children who have actually thrived and learn that with therapeutic support informed by the latest research, children can thrive and seek a path to independent living.
Please take a look at the therapeutic methods we have developed over the years, based on our philosophy of "Making Everyone Smile"—bringing smiles to as many children and families as possible.
●About Us●
Since 1986, we have been working as educational volunteers, addressing children's issues and conducting research and practice on how to help them grow. Our results have been recognized, and in 2019, we opened the Kagawa Prefecture Chusan District Compass Child Development Support Center as a local therapeutic center, earning acclaim from all quarters. We are particularly renowned for our language instruction, and even non-speaking children have progressed to mainstream schools, with over 500 students achieving this in just over five years. We also boast the highest number of recipient certificate returns in the country. By improving language development, we have achieved growth for many children with developmental disabilities, including autism, AD/HD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Asperger's, and LD (Learning Disabilities). In 2009, our "Downloadable Special Needs Educational Materials" was certified as an innovative project by Fukuoka Prefecture, the first of its kind in Japan. In 2014, we received subsidies from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the development of a therapeutic support robot. In 2015, we participated in a research project commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology regarding palate training. In 2018, we were certified as a "New Collaboration" company by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, commercializing the results of research conducted with universities and other specialized institutions. We are currently a specialized therapeutic education institution engaged in research and development of AI-based language testing and language therapy. We hope you will look forward to hearing about our many success stories.
