As someone from the United States where it is mainly Christianity, I've never really felt attached to it nor believed it. Buddhism seems so much more realistic and impactful.

And Buddha never preached to his disciples to follow his teachings blindly, in fact he was quite liberal and allowed his followers to pick and choose their beliefs.

I love how chill Buddhism is. As somebody with anxiety, having the mindset to not want to control everything actually reduces the anxiety.

I was Christian for my entire childhood, then Atheist for a handful, but after reading about Buddhism, I feel... Enlightened. It genuinely feels RIGHT to me. It makes me smile.<br><br>I think, I finally found tue first ever step on my own journey.
