  Buddhism was not started as a religion. The buddha was also not claiming himself to be any sort of god. He was just a great philosopher who do not even intend to persuade anyone. He was just trying to show people a different way to look at our world and reality, one that is totally neutral and non-judging. Religion is what people believe to be the ultimate truth. But I choose just to accept the fact that we will never really understand the real truth.

  Going on 78 and it changed my life 35 years ago and it is the only thing that makes sense to me . I live a good and happy life and take things as they come and don’t stress. 🙏🙏🙏

  Most religions teach about god and heaven, but Gautama Buddha teaches liberation beyond god and heaven, that is the main difference....

  This is why I love Buddhism, it's the universal truth (saccha dhamma). Other religions fool and comfort you into believing the lies, Buddhism offers nothing but the truth and most can't accept it.
