  Ex Commodore UK tech support engineer. I tested many of the C64 and Amiga games that went into the packs. I want/am eager to help if possible.

  For the entire video I kept repeating myself “yeah licensing is cool, but Peri…buy the freaking company so we can truly do whatever we want” and then the final seconds of the video…they gave me the chills and for some reasons I’m here crying. Go go go Perifractic and Ladyfractic!!!

  First of all, huge condolences to you and your family on the loss of Granny Fractic. &nbsp;Second, you buying all of what remains of Commodore is about the most awesome thing I&apos;ve ever heard! &nbsp;I would absolutely love to see the Commodore brand, dream, legacy, and memories be preserved and used for the entire retro community, rather than slowly fade away in a dusty filing cabinet of some corporate owner that may very well go out of business again and lose it. &nbsp;It&apos;s like those C64C case injection molds that were found and salvaged to make new cases instead of being sent to scrap. &nbsp;Looking forward to part 2! &nbsp;Oh, and shoutout to Jeri Ellsworth. &nbsp;Great to see you again!

  Commodore is basically responsible for me now working the job I do. Grew up with a VIC20 which came as a kit from a german tech retailer, soon went Plus4, C128 and then Amiga500 - with more ram, HDD, turbo card, more external ram - then a second PSU because the original one couldn&apos;t keep up with all the addons and external drives ^^<br>Moved to PC when Commo lost its steam, built a 1200 (as I never had an AGA machine) from parts in university (parts were mounted on my rooms wall for some time, while working), sold it for next-to-nothing because at that time they were worthless :( &nbsp;The bug bit me again, got a 2000 which was left out for scrap, restored it, put a new board in it, GVP 030 and so on.<br>Currently I still have a 2000 and 1200, both heavily modified Franken-Amigas built out of spare parts. I love them, I love what the retro scene has done for the replacement parts market. Even printed an A1200 case on my 3D printer once (in a lot of pieces, but it did fit!).<br><br>Honestly, we look back with a lot of rose tint on our glasses. Not everything was that great, we often played games because the selection available was limited compared to what we have now (even with - cough - decentralized backups), but if you play it on real hardware, instead of an emulator, all of the added analogue fuzziness of the connections give it a different vibe. And the memories on how we played Rick Dangerous with four people in the room, everybody memorizing different traps so we could beat the levels, is still strong.

  I remember Commodore Germany sending me a letter at home thanking me for the support because I was buying so much stuff from them, It must have been around 1986... I wish I still had that letter!!!
