  Keeping drivers safe isn&apos;t a Crime? It was VOLVO that introduced the 3-point safety belt, which has saved an incredible number of lives! I put a set in my 1966 Mini.

  My Dad owned the Titan N88. The sound of the Turbo while climbing was beautiful. I was 14 years old when I started driving it around our home area. I am still looking for second hand old N88 Titans and hope to restore one one day. He also owned a F88 which was also a beast. I cried of joy and of pain when he bought the Scania N112. Joy for the beauty and luxury and pain because the turbo was missing.

  Whole juicy bit left out is that SKF was footing the company name and initial capital at the start with the motivation of selling more ball bearings.

  Scania and Volvo, Volvo and Scania, makes me proud to be Swedish and from Gothenburg living just 4-5 miles from the Volvo factory

  Even the Peterbilt and Kenworth have had an European heart transplant with the )Accare MX13 engine, which basically is the DAF 13 litre engine.

  The circle with the arrow is the technical symbol for a ball bearing. And the company Volvo branched out of was SKF, a ball bearing manufacturer. And Volvo is Latin of &quot;I roll&quot;

  I worked for Volvo here in Greensboro, NC from 1990-2001 as a contractor in the marketing dept. and technical education dept. got to see many great things….
