  When a corpse decays, the ligaments also decay, and the skeleton falls apart. It doesn&apos;t stay together like the one in your 8th grade biology class.

  What takes me out is that it gets COLD in Boston in the autumn and winter, &nbsp;and not just snow cold but wet cold. &nbsp;Getting soaked can be a death sentence when it&apos;s 34° f; &nbsp;people would absolutely patch roofs enough to keep rain out. &nbsp;<br><br>Also one decent noreaster would totally destroy damn near everything touching water given how ramshackle the structures are.
