  Working at Bethesda must be super hell because you can pour weeks/months/years into an interesting lore reveal, and thanks to your reputation, everyone thinks its just a mistake that wasn&apos;t cut out

  My adjacent theory to this that you almost touched upon is that the Gunners actually originally come from Vault 75. They wouldn&apos;t have had vault-suits, highly trained, mercenary vibes. That the kids used it as a base and then just started trying to employ the skills they had learned across the wasteland, capturing more territory and expanding through their ruthless efficiency, training and access to better weapons from the vault.

  To me Covenant always kind off read as a cargo cult of sorts. <br>It looks like a pre-war cul-de-sac but it is not, it is all build to imitate one on a smaller scale. The houses look like 2 story building with attached garage but are very much not.<br>The house have like 2 rooms total each.
