I got the same HON! It's so beautiful, I didn't get any cover but I think I'm gonna make a second order and get the Yumi Kitagishi in A5 too. You should be able to fit the HON in any cover as long as you only slide in the back or front of the book but not both. I've seen some people using a HON in a tragen cover, I don't have it but it's supposed to be a bit roomier than others and comes in solid colors so can look more professional.

Also so sorry someone was rude about your question, some people need to get a life!

Glass pens can be scratchy. If you have some of the nail files that are on a “squishy” board with different grit levels, put a little water on them, make figure eights with the nib, and then keep testing it to see if it’s still scratchy. The Wearingeul glass pen where you can replace the tip comes with a little piece of sandpaper so you can make it how it feels good to you. It’s easy.😊

You could get the clear cover and put some nice craft paper or a neutral color paper as a cheap option! My kokuyo planner is like that (but it's softcover) could be worth a try

Wow, thats a couple of big orders but in then end, all it matters is that you have fun with journaling, isn't it? 😊 It'll be interesting how you use them and if they will change throughout the year. Amazing haul

I’m not using a hobonichi this year. However, I ordered the matching tabs. Going to see what “matches” from my own collection 😊

27:21 i noticed the new prices too. I was gonna buy from Hobonichi but i like doing price match and noticed they uped the prices -- prolly because of tarrifs and all that... Thankfully my friend who lives in Japan ordered my stuff for me 😅 so i got to pay in Yen instead of USD. USD was double the original yen price..

Wow, I hate the rudeness from some people on the internet. Sorry that happened to you. Asking if a Hon will fit in a cover is a perfectly valid question. For example, you also got the Yumi Kitagichi cover, or like you said, you may want your Hon to look more professional at work, or (like me) I’d want a cover in case I was taking it places (like to work every day) to protect it from getting the pages crumpled and the cover all dented. I don’t usually put the front cover of the planner into the cover, so you’d still be able to enjoy it. Sheesh!! I would imagine some covers like the “Only is not lonely” or the dark blue with the floral…but, the Hobonichi site probably tells you which ones it will fit in without any problems.

Nice haul, I hope you enjoy all of your stuff. On the Mildliners, if you look at the end of the Japanese print, there’s a Model Number, and that will tell you the color name. I love the Sailor brush pens (also love the Tombows, also love my Ohuhu dual brush pens I got on a mega deal on Amazon Prime Days.) So much fun stuff! And, you shouldn’t have to explain your finances to anyone…although I know the consumption police like to come and criticize. Good for you for saving up for things you really wanted and that will bring enjoyment to your life. There’s nothing wrong with buying things you enjoy and that you can afford. You do you. What a fun haul!!! I’m getting really into stamps.

That is a really cool 3 year journal!! I like the prompts, that seems like it would be fun.

There is nothing rude about pointing out that Hon is designed to be used without the cover. 🤷‍♀️
