  &gt;fnaf fan pretends that he doesn&apos;t love fnaf for 2 hours and 3 minutes<br><br>this video was very well made and for the most part funny but as we entered the fnaf 2 stage I must admit I started feeling a bit <i>sad.</i> For you I mean. You really don&apos;t need to feel ashamed that you like this franchise as much as you do. It&apos;s not cringe to admit that in fact it&apos;s more cringe to hide it. You don&apos;t need to mask every compliment in a sly and sarcastic remark, in a putdown that puts you above the source material and downplays its significance. You love it. That is obvious. You don&apos;t need to pretend you don&apos;t. It&apos;s been 10 years since that first point and click game. Sure it might not hold up to immense scrutiny but legitimately who cares. It was made on a budget of 5 bucks and its awesome. The gameplay is intuitive and unique, the designs are iconic, the atmosphere is incredible. Saying &quot;well its not as good as Silent Hill 2 because thousands people worked on that game to algorithmically make sure that it appealed to the most people possible&quot; completely misses the point. FNAF is a series of indie games. That makes it inherently intimate, at least for the first six. It isn&apos;t made by a committee, its the vision of one man. And I think it did appeal to millions of people. In fact it might even be more successful than Silent Hill. And as you say the fact that he made 4 games in one year is an achievement, no matter how much you try to spin it into a negative. The reason FNAF is as big as it is today is <i>because</i> he built off the hype and momentum and released as many games as he did. If he stopped at 1 or 2 or even 3... people wouldn&apos;t still be talking about it to this day. And people are. You are. So stop pretending that you hate it or &quot;you&apos;re too cool for it&quot; now. Just be yourself man.
