Grim sweeper and the entire stage 2 course in season 11 was way too easy overall. There were 28 stage 2 competitors and 21 of them cleared.

The metal spin was definitely a great obstacle, fun design, good tension, perfect difficulty.

Roulette row was very justified considering how many people made it there. I like how you have to do it without pausing, and keeping the metal spin would’ve let too many people finish stage 2.

The double wedge wasn’t so great, it was fun idea of having a harder version of an already difficult obstacle. But it feels somewhat inconsistent/luck based, once you watch Brian Arnold and Chris Wilczewski, you’ll know what I mean.

Wingnut alley might be the best Anw obstacle, EVER?! I’m dead serious, everything about it is perfect. 1st, the name wingnut alley just sounds badass. 2nd, it fricking destroyed everyone. 3rd, without it there would be probably 20-35 stage 2 clears in season 9 and 10 which would be way too many. Last, Almost every notable name from seasons 9 and 10 failed here. Josh Salinas, Adam Rayl, Thomas Stillings, JJ Woods, Daniel Gil, David Campbell, Jaime Rahn, Lance Pekus, Jon Alexis Jr, Travis Rosen, Abel Gonzales, Karson Voiles, Drew Dreschel, Kevin Bull, Flip Rodriguez, Sean Bryan*, Chris Wilczewski, Josh Levin, Ethan Swanson, RJ Roman. I rest my case.

Dumping on the grim sweeper would be beating a dead horse, you know exactly why it sucks.

And finally the falling shelves is really great in season 13, then it got boring in season 14.

*international special

Stage 2 was so hard in Season 8 because of the wave runner and the double wedge. Stage 2 was way too easy in Season 11 Soley because of the grim sweeper and snap back was challenging in the city finals but people mastered it by the time stage 2 came around so it didn’t pose much of a threat.
