  Sharks find caves and other areas in the ocean where there is a strong current. In these areas, they can sit still because the water moves fast enough for it to flow through their gills even if they are sitting still. It's possible there is a strong current along the edge of those rocks. So he is resting, not hiding.

  In this world, i&apos;ve learned that there&apos;s always something bigger and better out there. There&apos;s always been my dream to swim with sharks and tag them and protect them. But i&apos;ve gotten older and I think i&apos;ve lost my chance. So much respect for those who are out there finding the good fight and protecting our seas. Thank you

  Sperm whales are the 2nd largest whale (following Blue Whales)… have teeth and although they prefer giant squid they are also known to eat sharks…. And they do go as deep as 3k-4k feet deep which is where the squid are. They also hunt using a sonar sense and can stun their prey using a highly focused sound burst created inside their bulbous spermaceti-filled head. &nbsp;Thus, they seem the most likely to have frightened the shark.

  Unexplained phenomena. I never expected to see what appeared to be a large crop circle in the Falkland Islands, but I did, on a return helicopter flight from Sealion Island. I never mentioned it to anyone at the time as I don&apos;t think they have believed me, but it was a bizarre sight, especially on those Islands. Totally inexplicable.

  It is common in some areas where there are tunnels or curved rock that create a TIDE underwater, deep and/or shallow, that pushes water through that tunnel. Sharks can stay still in that tunnel as the current not only pushes the water through the tunnel, but also through the Shark&apos;s gills.
