Wow! This lesson has really helped me this week.

1. I am a beginner - guitarist and bass, but can't sight read music (dyslexia).

2. I started just after Covid and for some reason, I am beginning to really understand the sheet music. I still have to decipher the notes and play from memory, but heading in a good direction.

3. I do different things as my attention allows. Maybe scales today, 1645 chords tomorrow, playing with both hands, trying to put a melody on top, etc.

This lesson was just right for me. A little work for both hands, not to difficult. Once I had the structure down, I was able to just get lost in the music. I will start with the basic patterns and then just expand. I let my hands just go where they want.

I want to thank you for what you do. I've been watching for a while and I just got myself the Prima for my Christmas present. I was finally at a point that I need to feel how a real piano feels, not just a plastic keyboard. I love the Prima by the way. I am really enjoying the feel of the notes, soft versus hard, bringing the volume up or down. I am really really happy with the Prima.

Thanks again,

Chad

As I was watching this video outside, people must’ve thought that I was crazy because I was playing the air piano right along with the teacher. Even though I was concerned about looking crazy, I really couldn’t help myself. Any more than I can help myself from playing Those couple of notes of lean on me that I learnt almost 30 years ago every time I get around the piano.

I’m literally drawing myself a piano. Full-size because why not. Because playing the piano and humming along as I went through all five days of lessons, is way too much fun. If the air piano is darn addictive, I figure that a drawn piano should be even more so.

These classes are excellent, and if I could pay for them, I definitely would. It’s making me remember how much I love music. However, I’m sick and have no income at the moment.

I don’t see a piano in my near future. But I think that playing with my drawn piano is the fun that I’ve been looking for to replace being online which isn’t really doing it for me anymore.

Thank you so much for making this video. I already love the video that you have about learning how to read music. It was enough to get me to subscribe and sign up for notifications. But that being said, I think that this video is even better than that one. Paragraph when my situation changes, I’ll definitely be investing in your paid classes. That’s more thorough, and a used piano.

But until then I’m gonna have as much fun with your free classes and my drawn piano as I can stand.

You may not realize this, but you’re doing a lot more than just helping people who want to learn how to play piano, learn how to play. You guys are the Bob Ross a piano playing.❤
