  When cooking over a campfire, you have to wait till it&apos;s just coals and there isn&apos;t a flame for steaks and meat. Otherwise, you need a cast-iron pan. Even though it would technically be cheating, using coals is a better source for cooking dinner than tossing some logs in. At least that&apos;s what we do. Ain&apos;t no one got time to wait for wood coals!

  Ya&apos;ll I was yelling at the screen when Mark took out that pate and grilled it! I get the mix up as SPAM is &quot;technically&quot; a kinda pate. But it&apos;s canned, very salty very firm and must be sliced. Pate is soft, fully cooked, spreadable, and is suppose to be eaten as is! That was a nice slice of pate as well, it even had the traditional fat cap on it. I think every French Canadian died a little inside at that moment and you may be denied entry if you ever go back to France.
