She's delulu, but she's a very traumatized delulu, so we give her a little bit of a pass and we keep all kittens and baby seals the heck away from her

I like to think that when Luffy arrives at the island his thought process is:
"I got hit by paw guy > I land in other place and safe, so if my friends were hit by paw guy > they land in other place and safe. Ok friends are okay, we just need to find each other, no prob"

4:17 you better get some respect for our Boi, Vice Admiral Momonga! He's a fucking badass. He appears enough that he is worthy of remembering.

I wanna point out also Robin more than likely KILLS people. While its not explicitely ever directly shown Robins clutch snaps necks and spines which has a varying mortality rate of 10-50% depending on age and bone density. If anything at the very least she's creating life long parapalegics.

The string of arcs between Amazon Lily to marineford was amazing. Every chapter the world felt like it was moving so fast and up to the end of ace was a thrilling ride.

Spoilers

Amazon Lily is very underated as it introduced haki and how it's used. Plus boa is so op she took on black beard herself and took out two commanders it was crazy.

You can kind of take away a progressive message from Hancock "falling" for Luffy: it's not just a simple joke, she fell for the only person in the world who wouldn't objectify her. The whole tribe is the personification of women who struggle with objectification and Hancock's fruit is literally retribution for that. As for the problematic age gap between Luffy and Hancock, in a way she is also emotionally stunted and she has the emotional maturity of a 12 years old. She literally thought that "hugging" was marriage. This is not to excuse this kind of "relationship", but that's the point: there is nothing actually going on between the two. It would be different if they had done something already.

I feel like saying every attractive girl in One Piece is Nami clone also feels super disingenuous. I mean you yourself shown a post actually made the comparison in manga where it's clear there's more distinction between female manga character designs as opposed to Toei more lazier anime design. Only traits they shared is curvy body.

With more than 2000 named characters so far... and around 20% of them being women which leaves us at at least 400 female characters... i have never understood why people say all female characters look like nami... sure a few of them do... specially at the beginning of the show when Oda was still developing his style... but even if he has 10 girls that look very similar how can people so easily say 10 out of 400 means they ALL look the same? Not even trying to compare them with other shows where almost ALL characters look so similar... Oda has a style but even within that style characters look quite unique...

Since you are going to tackle the subject of "Okama" in the next chapter, you should know that Oda's interest in the sub-culture stems from Kazuki Yao who once took him out to an Okama bar. Oda was so impressed by the bar's atmosphere and by how Yao handled everything that he created Bon Clay, an Okama character, specifically with him in mind.

Bon Clay is also not the first non-binary character Oda created. Oda also designed Honjō Kamatari in Rurouni Kenshin, a cross-dressing man who is in love with the Kyoto Arc's main villain.
