  Elvis was the only singer that could sing gospel, country, soul and any other type of music and always did it perfect. &nbsp;There hasn’t been another singer as great as Elvis.

  I was younger when Elvis was THE KING, but after I watched his movie. At the age of 60 there is no doubt in my mind, Elvis is the KING. I have watched the movie 5 times I am driving my wife crazy LOL

  Elvis was my fathers 9th cousin on my fathers mothers side of the family. I love hearing stories about him when I was small .

  He was attacked on stage by 3 men. Elvis had 2 of them handled before the body guards got there to them. He used karate to get rid of the two. He pitched one of them off the stage. The third one was caught by the body guards.

  Being a guitar player and musician myself, I never really paid that much attention to Elvis growing up. Man, did I miss out. I just didn’t appreciate what he was able to accomplish. I just wasn’t into that early rock sound and I sure didn’t care for “dancing “ around on stage. I look back now and I’m just astounded by what a poor boy from the south was able to accomplish! He literally changed the face of popular music at the time and became the biggest star, in music and movies, to ever live! And there will never be anyone else who will achieve the level of super stardom that Elvis Presley achieved, ever!
