  you forgot about mahito's full potential with morphing his body. if he met heian era sukuna, hed probably have the realization "Wait... what if i had extra arms and mouths too?" he could become a binding vow merchant just like sukuna with the "cast a strong attack without requirements in exchange for more hand signs in the future" because he could literally make infinite hands of small sizes on his body, alongside multiple extra mouths to make his strongest attacks nearly instant with how fast he could do chants.

  I love how jjk is this kind of worldbuilding clickbait of a work.<br>The sistem and story is soo good, and they leave the perdect amounts of blank space for us to run arround crafting theories.<br>It really feels like creative excersise.

  I still fully believe that Gege had to write Mahito out of the series because he was way too broken to have in the story for a long time. He would be a disaster to write around.

  Full potential mahito, master of binding vows, offering deals to humans that turn em buff, pretty or whatever but all have triggers that eventually turn em into his favorite monsters. Eventually domain expansion. Touch the very soul of the planet. Eternal Self Morphing Hell!

  More interestingly, he could make binding vows with ordinary people in exchange for giving them a cursed technique and turning them into sorcerers, they would come to his aid whenever he asked them to like the binding vow of the Simple Domain school. He would trick so many people like he did to Junpei. Think about this, he could create an army of sorcerers to outnumber all the naturally born sorcerers, and use them as he sees fit. He could probably transfigure them to be even stronger, and abuse them to make them produce more cursed energy near their death. Also potentially merging souls like he did in Shibuya, but in a more stable manner and create an unbelievable amount of special-grade level living weapons.

  I think at the end what he meant by targeting specific souls was a way to specify what soul to target when interacting with someone or something with multiple souls, ie, Vessels. This way, he could bypass someone like Sukuna to just kill the host.

  I think we need to mention something really interesting to note,<br><br>Inanimate objects in Jujutsu Kaisen HAVE SOULS Maki proved this by way of her evolution to properly wield the SSK. A full potential Mahito could gain the ability to quite literally reshape the environment by manipulating the soul of the very ground and Earth instead of being limited to JUST humans or people.
