This little nuc has some work to do before winter! 🐝<br><br>I’m hoping the new box and feeding setup give them the space they need to draw out those remaining frames and really build up.<br><br>Have you ever modified or built your own feeding setup for a nuc? I’d love to hear what has worked for you!

Hey Brittany; was wondering how you like the Lyson Hive? I got a 6x6 nuc and had to pull brood from it in the spring as it was growing much faster than wood hives. I been feeding sugar all summer to pull wax on frames, its a process to get equipment. BTW a NUC box from Hillco is affordable, the pine lasts much longer.. A 12x24 floor tile as a top cover, drill a hole to jar feed, or place a rapid round feeder over the hole. An easy way to feed a NUC, and I have a lot of them.
