As a kid, it pissed me off so much that the original Lion Guard got replaced. And for such a stupid reason as well. Vitani wanting to fight Kion even when she knew she was 100% going to lose is not bravery. That is stupidity. She's the type of leader to get her whole pack slaughtered for her ego.

The fact he got replaced tells you he was never meant to come from that family he got married to a family that understood his life

I hated how a new Lion Guard was brought in while he was away. It should've been that Vitani's Lion Guard was appointed, under the agreement that Kion and his Guard would return to position once they came home

I'm starting to realize that every single character that I loved was a misunderstood special kid. Makes me look at my childhood diferently now. I love Kion so much, and he deserved better.

You forgot about something really important: Kion made Scar come back remember that when Kion roared into the volcano Scar appeared just a few minutes after the guard left

The 1st bit of lion guard content I've watched in years and it's about a child dealing with more than he can chew

Well it is when his sister replaced him with Kovu and them from his job and most of she was not aware that him and his gang went to the night tree for pride rock, not for himself.

Simba always wanted an "all lion" Lion Guard. And he used Kion's absence as an excuse to form one. No lion will ever have the strength of a hippo, the speed of a cheetah, or the sight of an eagle. But as long as they're all lions, he doesn't care if they're inferior.
