  I love how badly Shabriri oversells his pitch. He starts off with these insidious manipulative arguments playing to your sense of honor and attachment to Melina, and honestly it’s compelling. Then 30 seconds later our dude is literally screaming apocalyptic slogans at the sky. Meanwhile Hyetta’s quest is a favorite of mine - she’s sweet and friendly, but the subtly unsettling vibes progress to a  realization that something is deeply wrong

  The way Shabriri's VA says " Aaaaah, may CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD" is one of my favorite line delivery in Elden Ring. He sounds genuinely ecstatic and delighted and completely unhinged. Hyetta's voice actress also did a fantastic job, going from shy/nervous and excited at the prospect of becoming a finger maiden, to confident with an unsettling tone by the end. Whoever gave the VAs directions in Elden Ring in general really nailed it.

  The juxtaposition of Marika's deaths in the Age of the Frenzied Flame vs the Age of Stars further drive home just how destructive the Frenzied Flame is to the Lands Between: look at the way Marika's face crumbles as you rise as Lord of the Frenzied Flame, almost like she's reduced to a final, silent scream of horror before crumbling away, while in Ranni's ending, not only does the way Ranni hold up Marika's head convey a sense of tenderness before the end that Gideon thought could not be, Marika's head also gently fades into the good night that she set everything in motion for, with her most capable daughter distancing the power structure her siring mother created when she rose as a god.

  I like that undoing the damage you caused by choosing the frenzied flame is VERY difficult to do. Pulling yourself out of Nihilism and hatred is a difficult process, but it&apos;s worth it in the end.

  silentelipsis pointed out how gold and yellow, despite being so, so, &nbsp;similar, are supposedly different in elden ring, and that the game directly wants you to compare the damnation of midra to the elden ring in radagons body. I really find it fascinating.

  A thing that&apos;s easy to miss about Castle Morne is that the Leonine Misbegotten, the apparent leader of the revolt, is not up there on the pile of corpses celebrating. They&apos;re down in the graveyard, surrounded by corpses of other servants that had apparently been dragged there, kneeling as if in prayer. Maybe even burdened by guilt at the price their freedom demanded.
