  The mermaid statues are definitely reused models of the mermaid character from Donkey Kong 64. The same goes for the puffer fish enemies, which are identical to those in Donkey Kong 64 and were later reused in Banjo-Tooie.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJeMEXC32js&amp;t=452">7:32</a> Actually not a plot hole...There was no Mumbo Pad by Bottles, LOL. &nbsp;Jokes aside, the official player guide actually mentioned of one of the dead aliens, something along the lines of &quot;it is as dead as Bottles.&quot;<br><br>As much as I really loved Tooie, the one thing that really bothered me was no actual boss fight(s) with Mingella and Blobbelda (similar with Klungo in the first game, though that was rectified in Tooie). &nbsp;One idea I&apos;ve had for their theoretical fights: &nbsp;You fight Blobbelda as Banjo only while Mingella as Kazooie only, Banjo specifically using his &quot;Pack&quot; moves to avoid or mitigate Blobbelda&apos;s different spell effects while Kazooie uses her Elemental Eggs to neutralize Mingella&apos;s elemental homing spells, while using her mobile abilities (like Glide and Leg Spring) to pursue her. &nbsp;After their individual victories Banjo and Kazooie reunite to fight Blobbelda and Mingella who use their magic to merge together to form a much stronger entity (Similar to Kotake and Koume merging to become Twinrova in Ocarina of Time/Oracle series).

  I believe the horse cave drawings in Terrydactyland are a subtle homage to the famous horse depictions found in the Lascaux Caves in southwestern France.
