  I don't like the idea of trans women being handicapped in women's sports. As you point out, post-HRT trans women's athletic performance falls well within the range of cis female performance. So handicapping them would feel like, "Trans women can compete in women's sports as long as they don't ever win."

  if the problem is trans women having access to male sports programs pre transition isnt the solution not the trans people but to increase the funding for womens sports??

  its also kinda funny that they NEVER talk about trans men. because of the whole "hrt doesnt change the body enough" set of arguments being the only one they use, they purposefully ignore the trans men who are forced to compete with their biological peers and completely slam them because hrt... did its job.
