Hopefully everyone can see this video, YouTube told me they are blocking access to it in a gigantic list of countries and locations due to a Copyright Claim. I'm trying to get it resolved.

Ren will 100% allow ANY copyright to pass thru the gate- he really supports his fans, reactors and he does not give a fuck about copyright.
The man is a living legend, and the hype is real.
HipHop. D&B, singing, guitar, piano, story telling, shit this dude does it all but most impressively he MASTERS EVERYTHING- no Jack-Of-All Trades here, this fucker is master of all.

"I'm a Mordor Hanuman" not Handyman. Ren is up to speed on his world religions. Hanuman is the Hindu "Monkey God" and is a clear tie to the monkey/ape themes woven throughout this track : "Monkey to Gorilla, King Kong thunder drums like J Dilla", "Ate like an Ape", "Orangutan a manga fan" etc.

Also I think I just caught his Smith and Wesson bit "Inside of your head the chamber jewelled lead, one move and you're dead" might be a reference to this :

"In the fourth week, after attaining Nirvana, Buddha created a beautiful jeweled chamber out of thin air and sitting inside it, meditated on what was later known as the “Detailed Teaching” (Abhidhamma).

This miracle was extraordinary because the entire structure was made out of precious materials like gold, diamonds, sapphires, rubies, etc. This demonstrated that Buddha had transcended the ordinariness of a human being and had achieved a state that can be described as beyond divine." - the transcending/ending parallel seems clear to me at least

People struggle with feeling okay with giving Ren too much credit. Because even with the people who found Ren back in the band days. It’s still fairly new. But you always give him proper credit. But he is also one of the most talented musicians alive also. But why i say he a top 5 artist of my lifetime is because his catalog is maybe the highest hit rate I’ve ever seen. Like he is Batting like 850 lol. That includes, rap, rock, playing instruments 🎸 🎹 etc.

 Word!
I appreciate how you point out how Ren is not only a rapper, but also a true MC. He's an absolute student of rap and hip-hop and I love that he shows the love and respect which only comes from true knowledge.

I kind of love that so many reactors need to stop and regroup part way through the rap. Ren is amazing.

 "Word!"

I'm so glad you liked it! I've said it before, but my favorite thing is when people like you who are big into rap respect the Boi and thusfar reactors seem thrilled. Sadly, he's getting a lot of hate from the FITB crowd where this has been spread on the socials. Hoping the majority who are new to him just don't post, but the vocal haters are a downer. Even a lot of Ren's fans that just aren't into rap don't seem to love it... so that's negativity from both the "we don't like hip hop" and the "this isn't hip hop" sides.

Personally, I love it. I've been playing it since it dropped on Apple Music a few days ago. Now I'm tearing through reactions.

I'm pretty sure the "hadouken" part is one of the button presets that Charlie has on his board (so it the "Perfect!" and a few other sounds). I think Ren had those bars in there because Charlie uses those sounds as adlibs when filming these FIB vids.

Thank you for that genuine compliment for our Welsh boy. Coming from a 35 years long hiphoplover, it means a lot.
