  Most men want kids like a 5 year old wants a puppy.  Mommy will take care of everything.

  My husband and I wanted kids, but when it was determined that I would have a high-risk pregnancy, I had an appointment with a specialist doctor—I don’t even know what they’re called exactly. My husband didn’t go with me. When I asked him why, he acted like it was my problem to deal with and said he didn’t need to come. He even told me I should bring a friend next time. That’s when I decided I wasn’t having his kids.<br><br>The day he decided he wanted to leave and told me he was leaving me, I drove him to the airport. Bye.

  I hate the whole “we’re together for the kids” because all they’re doing is showing the children that they should stay in a toxic relationship because that’s love. The kids will see that being mistreated by someone who “loves” you is ok.

  I believe it was Spain that required men to be active in their child’s lives, and the amount of men who wanted additional kids dropped significantly. The whole world needs to do that.😂

  My biological father was one of those &apos;husbands&apos; who left EVERYTHING to my mother and got upset when she was too tired to do anything with him. He couldn&apos;t even cook for us when she was sick. <br><br>Actually, no, he totally could, he just didn&apos;t want to and burnt food beyond recognition on purpose so she would feel obligated to get up and cook so her child could EAT.<br><br>He also used his baby son&apos;s social security number to get a phone--which is fraud btw. He also couldn&apos;t afford that phone, so the son likely started his adult life with horrible credit and not knowing why. <br><br>Thank god my mother hid my documents from him once he told her about that. I have excellent credit, especially for my age group, because of her.

  One of the worst things you can do is intentionally create a whole living being and then let it know to its very core that you only liked the idea of who they could be, with no interest in helping nurture and protect what they are. You can help conceive a child and still not be a parent if you don&apos;t try to be one.

  Men love their kids if they love the mother. If they resent the mother they dgaf about the kids.

  Women shouldn’t have to go to work + do everything regarding house chores + do everything regarding raising kids

  Ok, but coming home from school and teaching a doll/pet/whatever what you learned in school that day is super smart. The best way to retain information is to teach it.
