  The rankings are for networks to sale games of name brands. This is why the SEC is able to rotate 8 to 9 schools every year.

  Last year Whittingham had 4 chances in the red zone to kick a field goal, but went for it on 4th down against BYU. If he would have just kicked one field goal we would have tied. If he kicked two or more, we would have won. Utah missed out on a good chance to be in the playoffs because of that. <br>Yesterday in Michigan, he could have kicked a field goal which would have made it a 2 score game. But he chose to punt instead. SMH. Whittingham has had poor judgement these last couple of years. The way he used Cam Rising is another good example. Whittingham is done. But he’s rich af.

  Hammond gets you one TD pass a game no matter how bad the opposing defense is. But he&apos;s still doing better than Sorsby this season.

  I hate that Florida sky rocketed to the top 10. Usually you have to win a few ranked games to get up there. They’re 100% padding to have half of the playoff field SEC for the CFP. As for as Tech; the second half of Houston and the Sam Houston games is what we are when we click. Flawed but capable conference champs. We need to improve and clean up some things; but we are not bad. We are a top 15 team when we play clean football. Hammond and the pass defense (and the rush) will improve as the season goes on.

  Until the SEC has to schedule home and home series with Big 12 and ACC schools this new conference metric is subjective….
