We just had a 4 day break there. We stayed at the Rialto hotel. Right on the steps of the bridge. <br>Top Tip. Gondola on the grand canal is €90 a person. Go to St. Marks square and get one. Only €39 per person. <br>Also a private boat trip (the sleek speed boat type) is €60 and will take you anywhere on the grand canal.<br>Expect to do lots of walking. Over many steps!

If you plan to go to Venice I kindly advise you to visit the entirety of the archipelago! Venice is also Burano, Murano, and many many other islands full of history and culture.

Venice is just beautiful, I was there last year and it was the highlight of my trip. Cicchetti and tramezzini are definitely a must. Props to Chris for trying a spritz made with Select! He’s brave.<br><br>I felt like Select was too bitter for me so I stick with Campari lolololol though I still need to try the Bolognese spritz made with Casoni or the Modenese one mixed with Lambrusco.
