  I understand he’s a lawyer, doing lawyer things, but as a registered nurse/medical professional, the way he speaks like he understands  as much as people who have studied, trained and worked for years of their lives in the medical field is as my daughter would say “cringy”

  PAs should be limited to JUST assisting a Dr. Basically a Nurse but with a direct line to the Dr.  Hence the term assistant. Never should they be treating or diagnosing anything!! They have very little training compared to a Dr. Its not even close. Its nothing against the title. IMO its the lack of educated care and extensive clinical that a Dr goes through. given in lieu of a Dr that is the problem.

  An order set does NOT contain policy or procedure. &nbsp;This PA-C would not get anywhere near a CTICU patient of mine. &nbsp;She would not last 5 minutes. &nbsp;For a PA-C she is embarrassingly incompetent. &nbsp; &nbsp;Edited to say that she did indeed know what she was talking about near the end with the platelets and when it came to testing for HIT.<br><br>And I wonder... she said she has a degree in &quot;nutrition.&quot; &nbsp;She was disciplined for practicing without a license as a dietician. &nbsp;A dietician and a nutritionist are &nbsp;massively different. &nbsp;There is no way this woman could handle the chemistry classes required to become a dietician. &nbsp;And who hires a person who is supposed to be licensed without checking the license.
