Boeing could simply have the auth-throttle disengage if both altimeters are not the same. The fact they have such a high altimeter failure rate is quite alarming

Boeing and other Airline Companies get away with way too much. When a malfunction of the Airplane happens, it doesn't seem to matter if it's something the Pilots have control over or not, they are always blamed.

His big, genuine smile as he proudly explains how his daughter is capable of landing the 737 using the ILS is the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen!<br><br>ETA: I’m not the first person who had this same thought! Just about everyone loves seeing a proud father talk about his children!

Boeing engineers say the 777 is the best plane Boeing ever built. The 737 retains many of the characteristics of the 1960s original with the engines close to the ground. Boeing planned to spend $14 billion to design a new plane in the late 1990s/early 2000s but Wall Street convinced them to blow the cash on buying back their own shares.
