  The Queen mother was a cold heartless stuck up person, the royal family supposed to serve the people not go against them people love Diana will remember her always ,they will not remember the Queen Mother will not be remembered in the same way as Diane will.

  It was not Wallis Simpson that wanted the crown or marry Edward. She begged him to let her go and stay on as king. So the story of the 2 women who threathened the monarchy isn&apos;t real. It was Edward who put his heart on Wallis. And besides, the queen mother had a faithful and loving husband who didn&apos;t betray her with other women. Her idea that Diana should endure the cruelty of Charles, who to be honest never loved Diana like he loves Camilla, is an idea coming from someone who didn&apos;t endure the same fate.<br><br>Diana had the bloodline and the innocence to be good enough to produce royal heirs but Charles didn&apos;t love her. Instead he started resenting her because she was far more popular than him. He was jealous of her. She was the bright shining star of the royal family, a real warm charming person.<br><br>Her brother is a hypocrite though. Diana begged him for one of the cottages at Althorp as an escape but he refused. And now Diana is supposedly buried at the estate he makes big money from all the people that visit it because of Diana. He uses her in death. <br><br>Diana deserved so much better than she received in life.

  I thought she was a sweet old lady who spent money like water. &nbsp;But, I have since read in various extracts that she was a cruel &amp; selfish old lady.<br>Prince Philip loathed her.
