This is an american reaction to european supermarkets, and Denmark did NOT disappoint. 🧀🥖 🚲 *BIKES EVERYWHERE* Before we even get inside, there's an entire parking lot just for bicycles. As an American, I've genuinely never seen anything like it. Danish people really do bike everywhere, and it's wild to witness in person. 🥬 *THE GROCERY PRICES* We heard rumors from Finnish and Swedish viewers that Danish groceries are expensive — so we had to find out for ourselves. From cone-shaped cabbages to a $7 t-bone steak, the pricing structure in Denmark is totally different from what we're used to in America. Items are priced per piece instead of per weight, which honestly makes shopping way easier as a tourist. 🍫 *DANISH SNACKS & DRINKS* We found Cocio chocolate milk (basically a Danish Yoo-hoo), bacon liver pâté that Danish people apparently eat daily, ketchup-flavored Lays making their way outside of Canada, and a beer section where Carlsberg reigns supreme at a fraction of US prices. 🍞 *BREAD, PICKLES & MORE* The bread aisle is packed with rye and seeded loaves (a big contrast to American white bread), and we even discovered pickled potatoes for the very first time.
