If they combine everything the employees "borrowed" from Linus, they can make an entire office with fully functioning equipment of their own!

One day Linus is gonna find Elijah in another employees closet and they go "I won him at the christmas party, here's the receipt for it"

Linus, please send Jamie to us, so we can teach him how to really tech out a model railroad layout. We have all the fancy stuff he told you about. BTW, we spent 300 $ on the resin for our lake.
PS: Jamie was buying the cheap stuff.

I used to install fiber internet to homes, and one install had a basement that was FULL of model train sets, all weaving through each other, going from room to room... etc. It was by and far the coolest thing I have ever seen. I can't even begin to imagine the cost of a setup like that, but it definitely was just cool to watch

If nothing else, these tech upgrades make me appreciate the breadth of diversity that LMG employs. You see such diverse kinds of hobbies with varying enthusiast levels, and no one is ever laughed at for any of them. I'm always so fascinated by the different hobbies that people spend their money on.

Disappointed Linus did not buy a real train, would fit right in with the firetruck.

I spent a year or so in Orlando for Navy training and we had a civilian friend who had the most incredible model train set I've ever seen in a huge room in his house. It had country scene, it had a city scene with cars that actually drove on the streets (guided by an electrical wire underneath), it even had a subway underneath the city that moved back and forth. I remember there was this carnival scene with all the rides being hand made. One of them was a double ferris wheel that was $10k by itself.
