  That last story about the woman wanting to groom her unborn child to be her smoking buddy is one of the most repulsive things I’ve ever heard.

  Having grown up around dirty ashtrays, yellowed wallpaper, and the smell of smoke on everything, I don&apos;t understand how anyone could want that for themselves.

  the stories of peer pressure are gross in my opinion. if you want to ruin your own body, that&apos;s fine but pressuring those around you to become addicted (only to fulfill your own fantasy) is really manipulative.

  This kind of thing reminds me a lot of “pro-ana” communities that romanticize hair loss, organ failure, fainting, etc. Obviously most anorexics don’t gain sexual gratification from their disorders, but there definitely are people who fetishize anorexic people women. Of herbs and altars made a really interesting (and disturbing) video on anorexia fetishists and how they fetishize anorexic women being weak and emaciated

  I have a special person in my life who is very addicted to smoking. He started young and is now 30. It’s terrifying to think people find this dangerous addiction attractive.

  this all gives such pro-ed and ed fetish vibes.... ive spent a lot of time around such communities (not so much the fetishists, but ive heard the horror stories) having suffered from an ed myself for years, and the things in this video feel so uncannily familiar. people using stories and images of other people&apos;s pain, trauma, and even death to motivate themselves and each other to get sicker, encouraging harmful behaviors and indulging in it... while i dont think im in any position to try and take some moral high ground here, i will say that it just breaks my heart to see people so sick and so willing to be so, especially because i know what the cycle is like.<br><br>also, props to you for being candid about your own smoking experience. all the best to you II 🖤

  As someone who has asthma, listening to people romanticize having a constant cough is insane. I&apos;ve never smoked, and I hate the coughing fits, the mucus, the difficulty breathing, etc. that I struggle with. I wish every day I could be rid of it... I can&apos;t wrap my mind around voluntarily doing that to yourself.

  I think the <b>most</b> disturbing element for me is the people who want to watch others get sick and decline because of smoking. I can&apos;t imagine seeing anyone I cared about, even in the slightest, getting sick and getting excited over it.<br><br>Edit: Oh my god, the 9 year old with the pack a day habit. That stepdad is a MONSTER

  This immediately reminded me of the youtube channel of the guy who continued to smoke himself to death and his comments were so disturbing, encouraging him to keep going. I just dont get why someone would do this but i guess its good that i dont.
