  Visualizing her voice like this makes you see how mindblowing she was. Her vibrato is so centred, and the notes are absoluty perfect. I'm in awe… I thought I couldn't like her more, lol.

  Hi Fil: I love how you cross ALL genres of music in your analyses. This, despite your own obvious talent in the type of music you play so well. Very interesting! My mom liked Edith Piaf.   She was unmistakable. She always had a lot of "feeling" in any Song She sang. Happy songs, sad songs... too bad She didn't have a happy life and suffered a lot of pain. It was Nice to heat such a Nice appreciation of this first rate artist! Thanks

  I don't know French, but I have long admired Piaf's singing, and this is perhaps my favorite of her songs. I certainly don't regret having watched, and heard, this video. Thanks, Fil.

  I've said it before, Fil, but you deserve to hear it again: You are amazing! The way you respect all these different artists is a testament to your greatness! I believe Edith Piaf died 20 years before you were born, and any person who shows respect to those who came before us is a friend of mine!❤

  Edith Piaf has been one of my favorite singers since I was around 8 years old. I was this little girl in rural Indiana listening to Piaf when nobody else around me knew who she was. I must have heard one of her songs in a movie and explored from there because no one else in my family or friends knew who she was. And honestly I think that is part of why I am so drawn to her story, such a tragic background and yet so many years later her voice is still being heard around the world by people she never dreamed of or thought would exist. "The Little Sparrow" did indeed take flight, and seems to take refuge on the shoulders of strangers like me.

  Édith Piaf led an amazing life as a songbird &amp; songwriter. &nbsp;She wrote La Vie En Rose. &nbsp;Her voice was one of a kind just like her spirit.💖🌺🐦
