I’ll never understand how people spend energy being mean to other people??? Like how could anyone ever insult her mom she sounds like sunshine personified

you saying "even though my pace and my finish time won't show it, I know how hard I worked to get here" hits so hard. So inspiring Linda thank you.

the fact that you finished the marathon isn't even the greatest victory, it's HOW you did it! Inspiring!

The people that criticize your mother’s care and intense love for you literally are the ones who needed a mom just like HER growing up….
Momma was a key factor in your recovery! Congratulations to her for your accomplishments as well. I know she’s sooo proud of you ❤

I was actually surprised to hear that people criticized your mom’s parenting.
She was very supportive and offered some great wisdom. If people stopped judging, and took the time to just observe and listen, they would have heard some wise words that everyone could adopt for a more fulfilled life.

This whole situation makes me have so much respect for Runna as a company. It is the bare minimum but the fact that they were nice and accommodating to you shows there is real people working there that actually care about running

While I am NOT a physiotherapist, I am a sports massage therapist. While I don't make people's recovery plans, what I know is: when you are healing, you know your own pace and body better than anyone else. I hope the comments criticizing you and your health care's plan for your recovery are quiter on this video because YOU DID THAT BABE. You. You put in the work, the time, the care, the money, the effort, the tears, and sweat to do the London Marathon. Keep doing what you're doing, I think you're a superhero

One of the wisest things my mum taught me was - 'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'. I think a lot of people could benefit from this mindset.

It’s very upsetting that people would critique mother sun. Some of us have lost our moms, are in the process of losing them, never had one or had toxic ones.
What I have seen On your vids is that she is loving and supportive.

As a runner myself, my personal opinion when it comes to marathons etc. is that you are running them FOR YOU. So take as many breaks as you need, walk if you want to and REST if your body needs it. Well done Linda!

I genuinely hope Runna realises what a strong PR move it is to not drop someone because they got injured. That was literally the reason I decided to check out the app in the first place (second time watching this video).
I find it really hard to trust brands these days. So many treat creators like they’re just tools for marketing, useful when everything looks shiny and successful, but inconvenient the moment something human happens. Mistakes are human, tripping over a rock is human, injuries are human. Life is human.
So seeing a brand not immediately distance themselves from you, that mattered to me.
And yes, I’ll say this too, the app is actually very good. I’ve just completed my second week of running post-injury, and it feels solid.

I know it takes seven positive comments to balance out how one negative one makes us feel, but I'm hoping to help tip the scale. I've been watching you for years and as a fellow stubborn Chinese girl, I admire your resilience and strength more than you know. Don't let people hiding behind a screen get you down. And Mother Sun is an angel.
