  A comedian told a story of himself and Norm getting ready to do a show in Los Angeles in the 90&apos;s. This is when the AIDs epidemic was fresh in everyone&apos;s minds and the comedian told Norm to lay off the gay jokes since they were in California. Apparently Norm went out and his first line was &quot;So what&apos;s up with this AIDs thing?&quot; and then did his entire set on gay jokes. 20% of the room walked on him. Legend.
