She wasn't interested in escaping to the country, that's clear; she was looking to be convinced to move there. It was a show to entertain us. They did that.

Its nice to see the looms being preserved. I was in a trip to Ghana in the 90s and got to watch Kent's cloth being woven on old wooden looms by several young men, actually boys. The skills were highly admirable.

Were I looking now, there are areas of Cumbria that have all the views and opportunities for retirement gems. Fells, moors and steam trails are so specials.
