  The largest factor in controlling stretch IMO. Is how you water.  Feeding generatively first 2-3 weeks is huge. And really triggers the plants to set bud sites quickly and focus on budding vs stretching.

  I control the stretch by using the crap out of BudClips, I only run 2 plants at a time so I make sure that every top gets a clip, and move them to new tops as the stretch is going. Really nice canopy this run from it in a 5 foot tall 2x4, but it's wall to wall. Much love DGC💚

  I've been forced into keeping my plants short because of the space I have available.  It's been a learning experience for training 101 and 102.  15 inches tall yielding 1-1/2 ounces dry.  Not shabby considering I'm growing 3 at a time.  Homemade higher education.

  Wassup Guys. I use a trellis net system and Low Stress Training to try to keep the canopy as evenly spread as possible. I only have a 3x3 Vivosun tent, so it works pretty well. I have my first trellis netting at about 7-8 inches above the soil. I use a plastic cut-a-way trellis net for the first one. Makes it easier to remove at harvest. Then, depending on the size of the plant, I may use a second plastic one, but normally, the top one is always a reusable elastic one. At most, I grow 2 plants, so I can reach any part of the plants without moving them.

  I just hit 125g/sq ft. Just tuck every dominant branch under your trellis everyday until gutting, at which point you will straighten your branches, and tuck them under a second layer trellis. <br><br>Stop letting your branches grow straight

  Slow the stretch... Just pump up the pars.. turn up the wattage or lower the lights closer to your plants.. give them all that they need, and they won&apos;t reach for it as much...

  Lowering temps slow the stretch a lot during the day , even putting oscillating fans right above the canopy will slow it down.

  The temp difference is a big one. The dry-backs is also another good way to keep the stretch low. Keeping your media moist in those first couple weeks will help with stretch, then as the buds start to show. Let your plants dry out more in between waterings

  Instead of running a heater, most of the winter i can keep my 10x10 room warm by just running a dehumidifier.. I also heat my house with natural gas so my Co2 stays around 2500ish around the clock and my plants LOVE IT!!
