  This video is one of the reasons I am going to do six months here with my girlfriend(I met her in USA)and we will do 6 months in America. &nbsp; Seeing family and friends are another reason. &nbsp;This rotation will help me avoid burnout

  I only moved to the Philippines after selling my XRP. Invested heavily early on and sold after it went up 980%. I&apos;ll never have to work again.

  I rented near Panglao for a while. Nice, gated community with a pool near the beach. Everything was good for a few months until the sari-sari 50 feet away on the other side of the community set up a piso-karaoke that would blast the walls 12 hours a day at bass volume 11. Noise complaints here are useless. It&apos;s not that no one cares ... it&apos;s that no one understands. &nbsp;They&apos;ve been living with noise their entire lives.<br><br>Currently in a condo in Cebu City. Noise is still there, but a lot more subdued. I turn on a white noise generator at night if I need it. Extra perk is back up generator to mitigate electrical outages. Of course, cost is higher.

  What is discouraging is that I hear this a lot outside of Cebu from the vloggers. First, I&apos;m low maintenance and have lived third world for years. I get long lines, everything moving slow and wifi going out at times. It&apos;s not that so far. It&apos;s the people themselves. Scams happen in all third world countries and all countries period. It is WAY off the charts here. From cab drivers to the resource chasing girls the constant beggars all who are everywhere, in my area of cebu I have a poor assessment of the culture thus far. I&apos;ll be on the other side of cebu in a week and will be going to other islands as I wanted to be here long term. If I feel the same in eight months or so I&apos;m back to Latin America.
