The story was so unhinged, Oversimplified became unhinged.

I feel kinda bad for Pickett honestly. Yeah, he was a bit of an idiot, but most things associated with that came from higher-ups ordering him to do it. Even Pickett’s Charge was General Lee’s idea. Pickett himself said it was a terrible idea, but was forced to do it anyway.

Oversimplified: "That would be a completely fair compromise that protects the interest of both parties."
Chelzor: "But have you considered GET FUCKED?"

Chelzor, I love that response so much that I think I may start USING it IRL!!!

I forgot about the part where he shows how many people live in each country.
At first I didn't believe it, but yeah, there are around 40M Canadians compared to around 330M US Americans.
Dang, Poland is just around the corner in terms of population numbers. I was not expecting that.
Really shows how you can't guess the number of people living in a country. I find this fascinating.

There was also a war that started over a water bucket called war of the bucket. The War of the Bucket is a conflict that took place in northern Italy's Emilia-Romagna region in 1325. The war was part of a larger, 300-year struggle between the Guelphs and the Ghibellines, and is often associated with the theft of a bucket from a Bolognese well by Modenese soldiers. However, most accounts say that the bucket was actually taken as a trophy after the war, and that the war was declared because Modena captured the Bolognese castle of Monteveglio

5:33 That would be B-2's. They're the iconic flying wing stealth bomber we created in the 80's and recently made a successor to with the B-21, though the B-2's are staying in service since they're still pretty good and we have invested a LOT into that design.
The B-52 is the conventional looking 8 engine brute from the 50's that has remained in service so long that one has seen 3 generations of the same family serve on it.

I'm a big nerd for military planes. Cold War especially.

Somehow, the stupidest of things led to some of the most important wars in human history.
