  Detail I love about this movie is that Dek is constantly shown as more honorable and more respectful to the Yautja culture than his dad. The second his dad starts to lose the advantage he immediately defaults to using his cloak and stabbing them in back, which if you are a colossal dork like me you know is the biggest taboo when it comes to combat in their species.

  Fun fact: Lore wise Yaujta prefer hunting humans the most. Cause we shoot back and have killed more Yaujta than any other species.

  He stuck a bunch of exploding bugs on a bunch of exploding plants, so when they got hit, the plants fired spikes holding bugs all over the place like some kind of eco-friendly claymore mine.

  I am amazed Roanoke didn&apos;t figure out why the regenerating alien monkey-dog didn&apos;t regenerate beyond &quot;plot point&quot;. The tissue was flash frozen and shattered apart where the other scenes showed a central mass regenerating outward. It didn&apos;t have enough energy in all those pieces to regenerate into seperate giant monkey dogs.

If memory serves the machines needed their attack craft to have initiative, imagination, lateral thinking and individual decision making capabilities that they, themselves, were incapable of so they picked the human with the best reflexes and G-force tolerance they had in the pods and yanked him out of the matrix to serve as the pilot of their space fighter. After being given the whole &quot;Reality as you knew it was a fabrication we created in order to control you, now go fight aliens&quot; speech, the pilot had all of the knowledge needed to pilot the spaceship uploaded directly into his brain and was sent up to destroy the alien ship. Upon succeeding in this task, the pilot was informed that in order give the spacecraft the performance characteristics it needed the machines had been forced to cut excess weight by leaving out non-essential design elements like a return capsule or spare oxygen. However as they aren&apos;t completely evil, just utterly ruthless, the machines agreed to put the pilot back into the matrix for what little time he had left, and accelerate the program for a while so that he could live a full human lifetime in the 20 or so minutes it would take his body to die of asphyxiation.
