What's not been said is that this is Texas, and generally six months of very warm to triple digit temps. This isn't just the product of hours of practice. It's hours and hours of marching, carrying instruments, and playing in blazing heat. And doing it again the next day.

This is a military marching band. This is the Corp of Cadets. Probably close to 400 members. This is dedication and a lot of practice in the triple digit heat in Texas during football season

Im a Texas Tech girl but I have massive respect for the Texas A&M band. They learn this in high school here. They work very hard . Not all of them are on a scholarship. <br>.

It’s so crazy watching this video today. I was in that band that day and have memories of that performance. So glad to have been a part of that and look forward to seeing the band again soon! Gig em!

Two of my cousins played in the Aggie Band. Both went to the Air Force after college. Both retired now. Gig Em Aggies.

WWI:<br>n 1918 the entire graduating class mustered into military service.<br>World War II:<br>The graduating classes of 1941 and 1942 both enlisted in the armed services immediately after graduation, and over 20,000 Aggies served during this conflict, with more than 14,000 serving as commissioned officers.
