Did you SOLVE the reference from the intro of this video? I Want to give a huge shoutout to Lenny and gang at Death & Taxes and Cloze from Nihilum for giving us the inside scoop on this tale long consigned to history. Also big love to Hurricane for letting me use his footage and sending me HQ versions for the edit, what a hero.

If you enjoyed this video, consider taking a look at our website preachgaming.com. We have some behind the scenes content on there for premium supporters but more importantly videos like this just aren't possible without the support of our amazing community. Even $1 makes all the difference.

There's no shortage of crazy stories like this one from back in the day that have been lost to the sands of time, so make sure to tune in next time for when it gets real weird in TBC

It's such a small footnote. But the lengths Vodka had to go to in order to kill twin emperors should have given them the hint that it was impossible. Iirc vodka was accused of cheating because they ran 5 tanks 35 healers and killed it over hours. My understanding is the twin emperors are why enrage timers were added to the game. Vodka was an amazing guild and its cool that Landsoul has left a footprint of them behind

Playing WoW during these first formative years was truly something special. I don't think a game could recreate what we felt during these first couple years.

This reminded me about how I used to see a female tauren warrior named Edna in Might in Org all the time with Quel'sarrar, and how when she got Thunderfury I had to whisper them and congratulate them. Vicarious living indeed, it blew my mind just seeing KTZ's loot pool and talking about ilevels and base DPS of the weapons with my biology classmates. Different times, man

There's such a huge difference between the mysterious legendary guilds in vanilla like Death & Taxes and current top guilds.. no streaming, no interviews, no YouTube channels, no armory.. just a guild name and names of some of the best players.. nobody knew anything about them..

For as long as I've played this game I had no idea there was so much drama around the 1st Kt kill. Literally had zero knowledge of this for nearly 2 decades. Well shit, thanks preach and team.

Total injustice for D&T, have to feel horrible for them. I'd be upset as Nihilum too, honestly; it cheapens what could've been the most legendary achievement in WoW's history. Sort of poetic & appropriate for Blizzard to fumble that moment with a bug.
