  lol damn I’ve slept in camping tents outside with better acoustics, you know your walls are thin when you can actually hear a car’s engine outside, Id go completely mental tbh 🎉🎉

  it took me a couple of months to adjust to the new acoustic when i changed home. my new home is no bad, but this open space fashion in some italian homes produces some horrififìc swimming pool acoustics.<br>It does&apos;nt help familyes to get along.

  Heading to Lisbon in October and looking forward to it. I tried some of the Fyne speakers with the tweeter in the middle like those Soul 6&apos;s. <br>I just could not get on with the sound at all. I was doing a long term comparison for several weeks between a Linn system and a Naim/Rega system. Used Linn Majik 140&apos;s in the Linn system and a variety of things from Focal, Fyne, Totem etc in the other system. The Linn won after a month of home demo.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_tkCEiWLuM&amp;t=570">9:30</a> it looks reasonably good because you applied too much smoothing, or the measurement was at very low resolution. There must be nulls and resonances in that room, but because of the smoothing and/or lack of measuring resolution, you cannot see them in the graph, but they are still there.<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_tkCEiWLuM&amp;t=805">13:25</a> gives a hint: only 4 measurement points per octave, but maybe that was for the RT60 measurements only.

  Have you heard the new Buchart A500 with the Purifi ultra long stroke units? They are some of the most impressive compact speakers I have heard.
