Normally these "how to skate outside" videos irritate me to no end because the person is there explaining how to skate on uneven surfaces while standing on the smoothest promenade EVER! But not Katie 😂, that's some proper normal surfaces one would find outside! I loved this and picked up some good hints (especially the one foot lemons)! Keep up the good work

I swear the UK councils purposely make the roads and paths as rough as possible for us skaters.

god I'm so glad to find one of these from a UK perspective, every time I've asked/researched about how to stay stable on rough and uneven pavements I just get 600 Americans telling me to find a smooth concrete path, like any of those actually exist here

Finally an instruction video that is not shot on perfectly flat pavement! Thank you, I'm so excited to start skating but I've had a hard time finding good places to practice as I don't have a garage/basement and live right in the city center

Whoa I think I found the one tutorial in existence that has no 5 minute long intro

I just wish I could practice in a place like the one you are filming, it seems so peaceful and in your shots there are no people behind haha
Seems like every time I wanna go out with my skates everyone is thinking the same thing or smtg and I end up not going because I wanna fall on my butt in peace, man😂

It feels like an inside joke…I giggled so hard at Brandon Farris’ video when it came across my Facebook feed, and thought it was hilarious when he mentioned you! And to see this video including THAT video really made my day 😂😂

As a Brandon Farris fan, and a beginner skater, I LOVED this video (And the random Brandon Farris appearance)
As a younger skater I probably should've been watching tutorial videos before I got out and started skating.. (Especially since where I am there's no skating rinks, so I'm forced into the outside)
I didn't even know how to break at first, I just learnt how to use the toe stop today😭
Thank you so much for this video :D
Before I watched this there was no t-stops, or v-stops, it was pure luck LOL

THANK YOU!! this video was so useful because every single other skating tutorial i saw had perfectly flat surfaces to skate on compared to my neighborhoods downhill and uphill roads. this helped so much!

Thank you for the staggered stance tip . . . there's this huge dip in my area to get into the park, and I'm honestly kinda scared I'm gonna die while doing it so thanks for the help :DDD
