In all these haunting movies, it’s always the men that are unbelieving until it happens to him!

I was in so much pain last night and in my dream my darling deceased husband came and woke me up to tell me to take my painkillers.
This happens from time to time.
Miss him so much. 😭

I've always liked Beau Bridges, I've always believed he was a very underrated actor. Only into the movie a little so far, but the acting second to none.

I love how the wives in these haunted house movies give a weak 10-second response to their husbands' questions about their experiences. If it were me, I'd be going on and on for half an hour giving a blow-by-blow account.

Case after case, story after story, the husband never believes the wife until they are in complete danger and then he gets shown/attacked and then he believes.

It’s funny when the women were discussing having their kids. When I had my daughter, she never made a sound, there were a few complications, so she was whisked to the nursery, as a precaution. I had her about 3:30, and around 5, the nurse came in to tell me that my room was ready, and they were taking me from maternity/delivery to the maternity unit. I started to cry, and the nurse asked me what was wrong? I said “I had my baby hours ago, I’ve not seen her, not heard her cry, so I’m pretty sure you’re waiting until my hubby comes back to tell me she died”. The nurse was horrified, went to the nursery and brought her to me. About then my hubby was walking in, and I was nearly hysterical, going on about “these people are very nice, they’ve brought me this baby, but it’s not ours, because ours died!” It took them considerable effort to convince me it was my baby they’d brought. That lasted about a week or so, then as easily as it started it went away. ❤️

Watching the neighbors getting together and having a barbecue seems like a nice way to get to know people. Though the guys didn’t seem too interested.😂 I used to know all my neighbors but many have moved and/or passed away. Miss those days.
