Its still surreal to hear that PS3 is a retro console now. I remember getting mine in 2011 and felt super excited cuz i got a “next gen” console at the time.

I just bought a PS3 Slim. I'm 15 and wanted to experience what I missed out on growing up.
I grew up during the PS4 era, and I am a pc gamer but The PS4 was a huge part of my childhood—I have a lot of great memories playing it at my uncle's house growing up !
From 4-10 year old
But the PS3? Wow. I feel like I missed out on an entire era of gaming. So many iconic games, memories, and experiences happened before I was old enough to be there. Being born a little later means I got to enjoy the PS4 generation, but now I'm finally getting to discover what made the PS3 so special. 💀😭

My young nephews were round earlier complaining that I only play "rubbish old-tech games". I booted up Motorstorm Pacific Rift and handed over the controller. Needless to say they quickly changed their minds.

had my super slim ps3 for the last 13 years since brand new, and I love it, never had an issue, I do everything on it, gaming, and mostly movies. it was only after 8 years that I started heavily collecting for it. glad I started then, have a nice library now

I absolutely love my PS3. I've got a nice wee setup with a PS3 slim and a PS2 slim, I lucked out by grabbing an old monitor from 2009 that was native to both and it works great!

I loved my PS3 console. It currently sits in the box collecting dust. But I'll use it one day.
