  It wasnt the mountain that killed the influencers, it was their arrogance and stupidity that killed them, sadly 😢.

  I'd never climb Everest, even if I knew I could do it and had unlimited money.  The idea of watching other people do things that caused their deaths, or possibly even the deaths of their guides, is too terrifying.  Walking around people struggling, in danger of dying?  It wouldn't be worth it just to stand on top of a really tall mountain, though I'm sure it's a remarkable experience.

  These are the kind of people that irritate me most and are everything wrong with society. I have zero sympathy for any of them. I feel awful for the Sherpas and others affected by these attention seeking entitled morons

  I think mount Everest needs to be closed immediately until it revived from all the abuse it's suffering

  Alyssa Brennen and Jess Calloway must have been the most discreet climbers of 2017. Not a single team, guide, or Sherpa seems to remember them

  It seems to me that influencers do not understand the basic concept of objective reality, kind of like thinking that skating on ice now and then qualifies you for olympic figure skating.

  Future climbers should be required to demonstrate the ability to fold a $70k poker hand before even getting their application glanced at.

  Modern society is so baby proofed, it gives most people this sense of security that permeates deeply into their consciousness. <br>Life and death are alien concepts to most people.
