I also can appreciate a father like Martin, my father could also handle a machete. To give you some perspective, I'm 75 years old, my father passed at the age of 69 years of age. At the tender age of 8 years, he was was taken out of school to work the sugarcane fields in Puerto Rico. So yes, he was experience in swinging that machete. When he was able, he migrated to New York city to find work, he left my mother and three children behind and would send what money he could till he was able to bring the family together after several years. I was 4 years old when we flew to NYC. He taught me the value of hard work, his wish was that I complete my high school diploma. I didn't let him down and went further to attain a college degree. That is why it brings me joy to see this father and son working successfully together.

It used to be the responsibility of the city to ensure sidewalks were safe to walk down, and storm drains were free from debris. Now, they claim manpower shortages or funding stops them from doing their job!
